Abstract

ARGESIM proposes a new benchmark description ARGESIM C20 ‘Complex Production System’. This article describes a first implementation of this benchmark by use of the simulation software Flexsim. The simulation model is controlled by a heterarchical control algorithm implemented in Flexsim, which covers routing and scheduling and is based on reservations. The results are presented according to the requirements of the benchmark description.
